ENDING A MAVTEMP ASSIGNMENT

Assignment Completion Notice

  • Please notify your MavTemp Recruiter at [email protected] one week before the assignment is scheduled to end.
  • We will confirm the end date and assist with next steps.
  • Your recruiter will also check in periodically during the assignment to see if any changes or extensions are needed.

 

Early Assignment Termination

  • If your MavTemp cannot complete their assignment or you need to end it early, let us know right away.
  • Please give 2-5 days' notice, if possible, so we can adjust the assignment and help meet your staffing needs.
  • If you are comfortable, feel free to inform your MavTemp directly of their new end date. If not, we are happy to handle the communication for you.

Once your MavTemp's assignment ends, you’ll receive an email prompting you to complete a brief evaluation. This form gathers feedback on the employee’s performance and your overall experience with the MavTemp program.

Reminder: Failure to submit a performance evaluation may delay your MavTemp's eligibility for future assignments.

Before closing out the assignment, make sure all remaining hours worked are entered into the employee’s TCP timesheet.

Once complete, please notify the MavTemp office so we can process final payroll and officially close the assignment.

Before the MavTemp’s assignment officially ends, it’s the department manager’s responsibility to collect all university-issued items—this includes keys, equipment, ID badges, and any other assets assigned to the employee.

Be sure to terminate or update system access the MavTemp may have had during their assignment to maintain campus security and compliance.

No extra steps needed on your end!

Once the assignment ends, your MavTemp Recruiter will handle transferring the employee back into the MavTemp talent pool for future opportunities.

EXTENDING AN ASSIGNMENT

Want to keep your MavTemp a bit longer? Great! Please email [email protected] with the following information at least 24–48 hours before the assignment ends (or anytime during the assignment):

  • New assignment end date
  • Reason for the extension

Your MavTemp Recruiter will confirm the employee’s availability and respond with approval or next steps.
