About Employee Engagement

At UTA we support our employees in reaching their full career life cycle potential by creating a culture where they are valued, accepted, and respected. We want each of our employees to feel part of a positive culture, that encourages them to actively contribute to the success of the University. Each of our efforts and resources for faculty and staff focus on Employee Engagement, which ultimately leads to increased employee retention, customer satisfaction and organizational success.

UTA Legislative SB17 Bill Guidance

On June 27, 2023, Senate Bill 17 (relating to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at public institutions of higher education) was approved by the governor. When the bill was introduced, UTA created a taskforce to prepare for its potential impact across the institution. The taskforce created a three-phase plan to help UTA implement change in areas impacted by this bill.
