Elevate and operationalize UTA values at all levels of the organization, enhancing engagement and fostering a sense of community across campus.

Impact

Clearly defined shared values and behaviors that are embedded into UTA’s culture provide a standard set of expectations and common language for employees. A shared set of values and behaviors adds purpose and meaning to our daily work, enhances engagement, strengthens team dynamics and provides a basis for giving and receiving recognition.

Key efforts to embed UTA’s institutional values across the organization have been completed. This includes investing in manager and supervisor development to promote a more consistent employee experience, enhancing the new hire process to strengthen cultural alignment, and setting clear expectations for staff, faculty, and leaders that reflect UTA’s core values..
