UT Arlington is exploring a comprehensive redesign of its faculty hiring and retention processes, along with revising Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant titling and compensation guidelines. This effort is part of UTA’s commitment to attracting and retaining world-class faculty, ensuring diversity and inclusion in its hiring practices, and offering competitive and transparent compensation structures.

Impact

This initiative will not only strengthen UTA’s ability to hire and retain world-class faculty but also elevate the graduate assistant experience, aligning UTA with best practices in higher education and fostering an environment that supports both innovation and inclusivity.
