Turn Your Big Idea Into a Bold Venture
The MavPitch Competition is UTA’s premier platform for student entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative business ideas, sharpen their pitching skills, and compete for significant startup funding. Whether you're launching a product, service, or social enterprise, MavPitch provides the resources and visibility to take your concept to the next level.
Who Can Participate
MavPitch is open to all currently enrolled UTA undergraduate and graduate students, regardless of major or college. Students may participate individually or form a team of up to four members. Interdisciplinary teams are encouraged, bringing together diverse skills in business, engineering, design, health, and more.
How It Works
The competition unfolds in two exciting phases:
- Video Pitch Submission
Participants submit a three-minute video pitch that clearly describes their business idea, the problem it solves, the proposed solution, and the potential market. Creativity and clarity are key! - Live Pitch Finals
A panel of experienced judges evaluates the video submissions and invites selected individuals/teams to compete in the live pitch round. Finalists will deliver a compelling six-minute pitch presentation, followed by a brief Q&A session with the judges.
