UTA's North Texas Genome Center represents a collaborative venture between multiple universities, medical centers, and corporate partners to establish a center of excellence for genomics and high throughput sequencing. Through the Texas Genomics Core Alliance formed with Texas A&M University, the NTGC offers high-speed and low-cost library preparation and sequencing services. This partnership provides sequencing as a service to enhance innovation across the biotechnology and biomedical industries.

Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers

Through the CETD, UTA is a member of the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC). GCEC links over 250 national and global university-based entrepreneurship centers and organizations. GCEC’s goals are to share best practices to advance, strengthen and celebrate the impact of university-based entrepreneurship centers and programs. Each year a global conference is held on the campus of a GCEC member school.
