Interested in becoming a vendor at MavMarket, UTA's premier student marketplace? Great! Here are some frequently asked questions about becoming a vendor. This event is a unique opportunity to showcase your products or services, gain real-world business experience, and connect with the campus community. Don't miss out!
The tabling fee is based on your affiliation with the university, plus a mandatory, refundable* $10 check-out deposit.
- Students: $10 + $10 Deposit
- Faculty/Staff/Alumni: $20 + $10 Deposit
*You will get the $10 deposit back in cash at the end of the event after your area is cleaned and you have submitted your feedback form.
You should bring your products, any display or branding items (tablecloth, racks, signage, etc), a method to accept payments (cash box with change, card reader, Venmo/Zelle QR code, etc), and anything else you need to run your business for the day. One table will be provided. Chairs are not provided for vendors.
Potential vendors are encouraged to attend the MavMarket Vendor Workshop. This workshop will go over the MavMarket vendor experience in detail and provide time to ask veteran vendors and organizers questions.
Attendance is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended, especially for first-time vendors. The workshop covers crucial information about the event day, rules, and tips for maximizing your sales. The session will be recorded and available to view online if you cannot attend live.
Additionally, all potential vendors are encouraged to attend EpICMavs workshops and events. These weekly events help entrepreneurs develop important business skills and strategies.
You will receive your table number and a map a few days before the event. On event day, you can go directly to your assigned table to begin your setup. Once you are set up, you must come to the central check-in table to officially check in with our team and receive your vendor identification.
The MavMarket Vendor Workshop will go over event day processes and procedures in more detail. The workshop also gives you a chance to get your questions answered by veteran MavMarket vendors as well as MavMarket organizers.
