Meet Abhishek
Abhishek Nagaraja
Student Administrative Support
Abhishek is a Student Administrative Support at the Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology Development (CETD) at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he designs and drives programs that support student innovation, entrepreneurship, and access to resources. At CETD, he led the creation of MavMarket—a campus-wide marketplace empowering over 250 student-run businesses, engaging 3,000+ attendees, and generating $100,000+ in revenue through smart vendor systems and feedback-driven improvements.
He is also the founder of MavsThink, UTA’s first business-focused hackathon where students ideate and pitch real-world startup solutions, and BizCoach, a personalized 1:1 entrepreneurship guidance program that connects students with curated on-campus and online resources to help them launch their ventures.
Abhishek founded UTA’s Entrepreneurship Club, where he leads a team in organizing startup mentorship programs, speaker series, and investor networking. He co-organizes 1 Million Cups Arlington, helping local founders tell their stories and grow through community-driven feedback and outreach.
Before joining UTA, Abhishek was the Founder and Community Lead of e-DAM and served as Managing Director of Aveha Solutions in Hyderabad. There, he developed a B2B SaaS platform for engineering colleges and scaled the Hyderabad Technical Community into a 10,000+ member student ecosystem that delivered 200+ technical sessions, supported 7+ startups, and created 50+ internships.
Earlier in his journey, Abhishek led cross-functional teams on IoT and SaaS-based product development and built digital workflows for early-stage ventures—all driven by his belief in democratizing opportunity and education access.
Abhishek is currently pursuing his M.S. in Engineering Management at the University of Texas at Arlington, focusing on systems thinking, product strategy, and data analysis. He holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, where his love for innovation and community building first took root.
He is actively working toward becoming a Product Manager—learning through hands-on campus initiatives, startup ecosystems, and peer-led communities. A community-builder at heart, Abhishek brings people together to share knowledge, solve problems, and grow. When not immersed in entrepreneurship, you’ll likely find him playing chess and reflecting on strategy—on the board and beyond.
