ATTS provides testing opportunities to UTA students and community members to help meet academic and professional goals. We also guide students through state required TSIA2 testing and advising.

WHAT IS TSI?

Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is a state law requiring all Texas public institutions, including UT Arlington, to determine college readiness in Reading, Writing, and Math for all degree-seeking undergraduate students, both on campus and online. The TSIA2 is the name of the assessment test and is the measurement used to assess college readiness.

Testing times vary for each exam offered by the Academic Testing Center. No walk-ins are allowed. Please click here to see available times and to schedule your exam.

Bio: Dr. Calhoun-Butts serves as the Assistant Vice Provost of Retention and Completion in the Division of Student Success. She has 20 years’ experience in higher education and served in many capacities including leadership and administration, orientation, residence life, academic advising, enrollment management, research, and teaching. Dr. Calhoun-Butts is committed to advancing excellence in education, fostering innovation, and nurturing an inclusive environment.
