Mavs RISE

Mavs RISE is an invitation-only, admission program designed to serve, support, and empower first-year students who are conditionally admitted. The targeted support is tailored to each student to provide the right path to academic success. Students will complete a series of required meetings and activities that will teach them about different campus resources, important academic strategies, and college-life skills they can use throughout their academic career.

Mavs RISE is designed to support the first-year students in all aspects of college life. The program aims to enhance students' academic skills, confidence, and preparedness to succeed in a standard college environment. Throughout this program the students will develop strong academic skills and knowledge, leading to improved academic performance. The support from the Mavs RISE program will also help these students develop a strong foundation for their continued success in higher education and matriculate through to graduation.
