Drop-In Advising

Undergraduate business advisors will offer walk-in advising (virtual and in-person) beginning August 4, 2025 through September 3, 2025 for Fall 2025 registration needs.
Our offices will be open 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday with a one-hour lunch break from 12:30pm - 1:30pm.

Please note: Due to demand, academic advising queues often reach full capacity early each day. Students in need of advising are encouraged to sign up for an in-person or virtual advising session as early in the day as possible to ensure they can be served the same day.

In-Person Drop-In Visit (Monday – Friday)

Advisors will be available for in-person advising needs with no appointment needed Monday through Friday beginning August 4th and continuing through September 3rd. Our office hours will be 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. The last student for in-person walk-in advising will be accepted based on the volume of students received and the anticipated time needed to address all students. If we reach capacity prior to the scheduled close of business, queues will be closed for the day. Therefore, it is always best to arrive and complete the registration link as early in the day as possible for virtual or in-person advising. For in-person advising, you must be present to sign in.

Virtual Drop-In Visit (Monday – Friday)

The virtual advising request form will be available each day between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm (Monday - Friday) from August 4th through September 3rd.

*Forms will not be accepted during the lunch hour of 12:30pm - 1:30pm.

1. Your request will be assigned to the first available advisor. The amount of time between the submission of your request and contact from an advisor is based on the volume at that time.

2. If you request a phone call, please ensure you are available when the advisor calls. If you do not answer, an email will be sent to your MyMav email to address your question.

3. If you request an email, information will be sent to your MyMav email. Please make sure you review the information and respond to any questions or needs.
