Business Student Resources
Choosing UTA’s College of Business sets you up for success and places you in the center of a metroplex full of opportunities. The Dallas/Fort Worth region offers access to a range of Fortune 500 companies – 24 headquarters, to be exact - and a startup community that’s one of the country’s most welcoming.
The Wall Street Journal
All current UTA students, faculty, and staff have online access to The Wall Street Journal, courtesy of the College of Business. You must first set up a Wall Street Journal online account.
Barron’s in Education
We are excited to announce our partnership with the Barron’s in Education program from Dow Jones. This valuable financial program, gifted by Marie A. Moore and Shawn D. Moore of the Moore Group, includes 24/7 access to Barron’s, a leading financial portal and magazine.
Peer-Led Team Learning
PLTL (Peer-Led Team Learning) allows you to work in small groups of 8 with your peers to apply or practice problem sets developed by UTA faculty. PLTL workshops are once a week and attendance is mandatory. A PLTL leader will meet with the group to provide the problem sets and help through areas that are difficult to understand.
