RISE 100 Initiative
Status: On Target
Overview
UTA is investing in its future with RISE 100, a transformative $60 million effort to hire 100 new tenure-stream faculty over the next few years.
Impact
As part of the RISE 100 hiring plan, 10 positions will be held for Target of Excellence Scholars. This will accelerate our success in recruiting highly accomplished full-time tenure-system faculty who will advance UTA's research excellence in alignment with the University's strategic plan.

Status Update - Summer 2025
Improving operational efficiency in the hiring and onboarding of faculty and postdocs by implementing a new faculty-oriented applicant tracking system that is customizable, user-friendly, and can be seamlessly integrated with existing HR-related systems.
