Honor Code
I pledge, on my honor, to uphold UT Arlington's tradition of academic integrity, a tradition that values hard work and honest effort in the pursuit of academic excellence. I promise that I will submit only work that I personally create or that I contribute to group collaborations, and I will appropriately reference any work from other sources. I will follow the highest standards of integrity and uphold the spirit of the Honor Code. The office is engaged in educating the community regarding the University’s standards and procedures for student conduct. These standards and procedures promote civility and protect the rights and safety of UTA. The disciplinary process shall be fair, equitable, educational and developmental, supporting the commitment that students become responsible members of the University community.
Rules and Regulations for the UT System
All students at the University of Texas at Arlington are expected to have read and understand The Regents' Rules and Regulations. Community Standards is committed to educating students about The Regents’ Rule and Regulations and aiding them in navigating the necessary information.
All students are expected and required to adhere to federal, state, and local laws, to comply with the Regents' Rules and Regulations, with The University of Texas System and institutional rules and regulations, with directives issued by an administrative official of the UT System or institution in the course of his or her authorized duties, and to observe standards of conduct appropriate for an academic institution.
