Marketing, Messaging, and Engagement is asking all UTA staff and faculty to do a campus-wide digital brand clean-up to show a clear, consistent, and compelling brand.

 

Why we’re doing this:

Key to a resilient institution, our brand’s visual identity and logo accelerates trust with prospective students, partners, and donors, and it streamlines our daily work, and ensures our message is heard, making our recruitment, advancement, and community engagement efforts more effective.

 

Our immediate priority is to refresh our digital assets. This "digital-first" approach is easy to implement and cost-effective and has the broadest and most immediate impact. The priority updates will be:

  • University webpages, social media profiles, and digital signage
  • Name badges and office nameplates that are updated with an insert
  • PowerPoint templates and email signatures
  • Email communications (e.g., admissions, alumni relations, departments)
  • Digital templates for frequently used documents like forms and procedures
  • Lectern branding

How Do You Play?

Step1

Be on the lookout for incorrect logos.

Step 2

Take a photo—note the location and category (see form for categories)

Step 3

Go to go.uta.edu/foundit and upload a photo —found or fixed logos— include required info

Points and prizes

Your department is your team, and teams get the points and win the prizes. The campaign runs from July 16 to Aug. 15, but the campaign to fix branding is ongoing. Our goal is to get all is to get all 'digital first" priorities updated by the end of the year.

10-points for incorrect logo uploads 

20-points for replacing or fixing with an approved logo (submit proof) 

50-point bonus for the first department to reach five fixes in a week (1 bonus for each department) 

Prizes will be announced at the end of campaign and yes, will include new logos.
