CIRTL-UTA Graduate Teaching Certificate

The CIRTL-UTA Graduate Teaching Certificate program is designed for graduate students who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching at the college level.

The program consists of four levels. Each level has its own list of requirements.  These requirements align with CIRTL core ideas of Learning through Diversity, Teaching-as-Research, and Learning Community. When graduate students successful complete each level, they will receive a completion certificate, earn a digital badge to post on social media platforms, and have the completion of certificate level noted on official UTA transcripts.

The program has a flexible completion schedule, but participants should check with their degree program or academic department for any specific deadlines within their program requirements.
