Estimated Cost

As an architecture student, you’ll need to purchase your own materials, supplies, tools, and equipment for studio work. We recommend budgeting around $1,000 for the first year. You’ll also likely participate in one or two field trips, with each typically costing about $100. Please note that material and travel expenses generally increase as you progress through the program.

For the 2025-2026 academic year (Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters), the average cost of attendance for a full-time student paying the in-state tuition rate is:

General Hardware Specification

The UTA School of Architecture does not endorse any particular computer manufacturer, brand, or vendor. However, certain software is known to not work on Apple computers.
