EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT
At UTA we support our employees in reaching their full career life cycle potential by creating a culture where they are valued, accepted, and respected. We want each of our employees to feel part of a positive culture, that encourages them to actively contribute to the success of the University.
HISPANIC SERVING INSTITUTION INITIATIVES
The HSI department was founded in Spring 2023 with the purpose of institutionalizing an evidence-based framework and incorporates UTA's definition and application of servingness which focuses on providing access to excellence, enhances academic capacity, excels academic quality and nos hace sentir en familia. HSIS ideology of servingness focuses on six themes: HSIS ideology of servingness focuses on six themes; including HSI events, faculty and staff resources support, academic engagement, grant funding, branding, community and educational partnerships.
HR INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Provide innovative systems that meet future reporting, automation, integration, and information management needs. Serve as a strategic campus partner to integrate both new and existing systems into our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) platforms, creating efficiencies and empowering data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
MARKET-BASED COMPENSATION
A competitive compensation structure is key to retaining current employees and attracting new talent needed to support UTA's strategic direction and future growth. The TCE Compensation team is continuously developing resources and educational materials to enhance transparency and provide valuable information to employees.
ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS
Develop and deliver high quality learning, leadership, and organizational development programs to increase leadership effectiveness and build high performing teams, including a new learning management system, and new educational tools and resources to incorporate our new UTA values and value behaviors
RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION
Develop Talent Acquisition operations that support our leaders to engage top talent in a competitive labor market, including collaborations across campus to create a student to employee pipeline, upgraded software systems, and a robust onboarding experience designed to keep new employees engaged and compliant.
