University Studies drop-ins

In–person drop-ins are held on Tuesdays from 1 PM – 4 PM in Ransom Hall. Please check in with the 2nd floor reception desk.

Serina Davenport

Bio: Serina Davenport graduated from Indiana State University with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She later earned her master's degree from Capella University in Counseling and Social Community services. She is passionate about student success, retention, and helping students navigate their academic journeys with confidence and clarity. Serina supports the Division of Student Success and serves students by leading academic progression and completion initiatives, providing strategic advising support, and connecting students to resources that promote persistence and timely graduation.

Bio: My name is Tammy R. Drakeford, I was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, moved to Texas in June 1987. I have worked in Higher Education since April 2002, starting in the Career Services (Career Development Center) here at UTA, as a Front Desk Supervisor and currently now as a Coordinator in Academic Progression & Completion. I LOVE it here at UTA! In my spare time I enjoy church, traveling, and spending time with family!

Bio: Audrey Orr graduated from UTA with her bachelor's degree in University Studies and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Education at UTA. She is passionate about mentoring and guiding students through their educational journey. Audrey supports the Division of Student Success and serves students by providing academic advising services to help students successfully navigate course selection and degree requirements to stay on track to graduation!

Bio: Andrea Bond graduated from Texas A&M University -Commerce with her bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies. She spent 21 years teaching before transitioning to advising at UTA. Andrea now supports the Division of Student Success in her role in Academic Progression and Completion. She serves students by connecting them to resources so they can meet their academic goals and graduate.
