The Blaze Forward Program makes it even easier for eligible students to get a world-class education here at UTA!

Using a combination of grants, tuition waiver and scholarships, the Blaze Forward Program provides students meeting all eligibility requirements with funding that will cover 100% of their tuition and course fees for fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters. The Blaze Forward Program does not cover other expenses including but not limited to housing, meals, and textbooks.

The deadline to be considered for the 2025-26 aid year was March 1, 2025.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

After completing your FAFSA form, you will be notified via your UTA email account once your FAFSA has been received as well as if any documents are required to complete your financial aid file. We will also update your To-Do List in your MyMav Student Homepage with any outstanding items.

Important Dates

March 1, 20251: Priority Date for the 2025-2026 aid year (summer 2025, fall 2025, and spring 2026), the deadline for the 2025-26 Blaze Forward program, and the deadline to apply for all 2025-26 merit-based scholarships for incoming freshman and transfer students.

October 1, 2025: The 2026-2027 FAFSA becomes available to complete at FAFSA.gov.

November 3, 2025: Registration begins for the spring 2026 semester.

November 2025: UTA begins receiving 2026-2027 FAFSA forms.

January 2, 2025: Earliest disbursement date for the spring 2026 semester.

Blaze Forward Program

UTA is proud to offer the Blaze Forward Program. Undergraduate students who meet all eligibility requirements and deadlines will be offered a combination of grants and other gift aid that will cover 100% of their tuition and course fees for the Fall and Spring semesters.
