This biennial trip to NYC helps students connect with industry professionals and learn how to make the move to NYC after graduation.

UTA students met and worked with two major theatre agents in New York, Matt Redmond (DGRW Talent Agency) and Katie Murphy (Pantera/Murphy Agency). They represent actors from shows like Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, The Outsiders, Wicked, Real Women Have Curves, and Sunset Boulevard.

Students also met and performed for three casting directors: Geoff Josselson (Geoff Josselson Casting), Rashad Naylor (The Telsey Office), and Kevin Metzger-Timson (The TRC Company).

They also had the opportunity to participate in workshops focused on acting, singing, auditioning, and dancing, as well as meeting working actors including UTA alums!
