WIL strives to provide resources to advance women's interest in the legal world and to celebrate similarities and differences in backgrounds and views through the following:

  • Conversing - A safe place for courageous conversations on real issues affecting women in the profession.
  • Building Relationships - A platform for women to connect on a professional and/or personal level and form lasting relationships.
  • Inspiring - A focus on highlighting inspiring and motivating stories about women in law.

Mission

Women in Law (WIL) is a student organization dedicated to inclusively empowering, educating, and embracing female members of the UTA community with an appreciation for law and legal studies. This organization hopes to develop community relations with women in legal practice, advocating for equal opportunity for women in the workplace, and providing opportunities for mentorship, networking and sharing ideas.
