As a former Head Choral Director in the DFW metroplex, Mr. Blake led his choirs to consistently achieve exceptional levels of musical excellence—a testament to his dedication to developing the skills and potential of his students. His commitment to education has been recognized with numerous accolades, including Campus Teacher of the Year, District Secondary Teacher of the Year, and Director of Distinction, highlighting his impact as a leader, mentor, and visionary in the educational field. Currently, Mr. Blake serves as a Secondary Choral Consultant, widely revered for his passion and creativity in music education. He is frequently sought after across the nation as a clinician for honor choirs and festivals, where he shares his innovative approach to fostering student connections within the choral classroom and beyond. Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Blake cherishes time with his family, actively serves in his church community, and runs his online bakery, CocoMo’s Cookiery, in his hometown of Fort Worth.
