Hospitality offers two degree paths to match your goals.
BS in Hospitality Management provides advanced industry knowledge in analytics, finance, and operations, with 500 required work hours for real-world experience.
BBA in Hospitality Management builds a strong business and hospitality foundation with flexibility to double major in areas like Real Estate and Entrepreneurship.

The Blaze Forward Scholarship Program
Using a combination of grants, tuition waivers, and scholarships, UTA’s Blaze Forward Program provides students meeting all eligibility requirements with funding to cover 100% of their tuition and course fees. Eligibility criteria includes:

Be a Texas resident paying the in-state tuition rate

Be eligible to receive awards through the Federal Pell Grant and the TEXAS Grant

Have a yearly family income of $100,000 or less
-
Enroll as a full-time student at UTA (minimum of 12 undergraduate hours each long semester)

Merit-Based Scholarships
The Blaze Forward Program is one of many financial assistance programs offered at UTA. Merit-based scholarships are available to the highest academically achieving incoming freshmen and transfer students. The Scholarship Committee reviews students’ academic records based on a variety of factors including high school rank, GPA, test scores and difficulty of high school courses. Submission of an SAT or ACT test score is required to be considered for the highest academic scholarships.
We encourage students to apply to UTA and submit their FAFSA/TAFSA to determine eligibility for scholarships and financial aid. Complete the FAFSA online at StudentAid.gov. UTA school code: 003656. For more information, visit the UTA Scholarships page.
Other Ways to Fund Your College Education
Undergraduate students are eligible for federal loans and can borrow up to $12,500 each year in Direct Unsubsidized Loans, which may be partially subsidized. Direct PLUS Loans, which are available to parents of undergraduate students, also can be used for the remainder of costs not covered by other financial aid. Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA to see if they qualify for federal loans. Banks and credit unions offer private student loans. Students may apply directly with the lender.

UTA’s Central Library FabLab boasts 8,000-square-feet of makerspace featuring 3D printers, laser cutters, screen printers, kilns, sewing machines, and much more for learners from any discipline or experience level.
