Residential Outreach Counseling Program
Did you know?
The University of Texas at Arlington has a licensed therapist in each residence hall.
Living on campus means you have more than a place to just sleep and study. It means being part of a supportive community. That’s why we have dedicated counselors available, right down the hall. The ROC team also supports UTA’s campus-owned apartment communities.
*Individual and group therapy *Drop-in psychoeducational workshops *Outreach programs and events
If you’d like to schedule an individual appointment, call CAPS at 817-272-3671. Let us know which hall or apartment you’re in and that you want to see a ROC counselor.
Next, if it is appropriate, the ROC Counselor will schedule a more in-depth assessment with you.
Urgent appointments are available during CAPS business hours for students in crisis. Please call (817) 272-3671 and request to speak with the crisis counselor on duty.
