Dr. Mark Hand
Dr. Mark Hand's project proposal, "The Democratic Practices of Purpose-Owned Companies,” has been awarded $11,873 in funding through the 2025 Research Enhancement Program (REP). Chosen from a competitive pool of submissions, the proposal was recognized for its strong collaborative focus and potential impact. The grant will support the research from June 1, 2025, through August 31, 2026.
This year's REP award recipients will be honored at the Spring Meeting of the University Faculty and Associates on Tuesday, April 22, at 4:00 PM in the Rio Grande Ballroom of the E.H. Hereford University Center.
The objective of Dr. Hand's study is "to gain a deeper understanding of how companies make the decision to transition to purpose trust ownership structure." More information can be found in the full proposal.
