You're embarking on a new chapter full of unforgettable moments, and we're excited for you to see what being Maverick Made is all about!
During this event you will:
- Learn about next steps to complete and prepare to start classes
- Meet 1-on-1 with our staff to submit any missing documents and get your questions answered
- Attend an academic advising session with first-year advisors
- Review your financial aid and scholarship offers with UTA staff
- Discover UTA resources that will set you up for success as a student
- Meet other future Mavericks and start building your network
- Eat lunch at our on-campus dining hall
This event is exclusively for newly admitted first-year Maverick students.

Guidebook
The full list of sessions and locations taking place during Maverick Made will only be available in Guidebook. Maverick Made attendees will need to download the free Guidebook app to view session information and to build your schedule. See instructions below for utilizing Guidebook.
How to Download
1. Download the free Guidebook app from the Apple or Google Play Store.
2. Search within the app "UT Arlington-Campus Tours"
3. Choose the Maverick Made folder and view Maverick Made Schedule
4. Select sessions you are interested in and then select "Add to My Schedule".
You are not required to attend the sessions you select in Guidebook - this tool is to help you organize your day.
Parking Information
Guests should park in the West Campus Parking Garage. Please register your vehicle the day of the event.
How to Register Your Vehicle
- Select "Department-Hosted Event”
- Select "Maverick Made Admitted Student Day”
- Enter voucher code MAVUP
- Select the permit type "(EVT-COMP) College Park Garages"
- Select the active date
- Add vehicle info and confirm
